Rates
All three and four day vacations require a $750 reservation deposit. All seven day vacations require a $1000 reservation deposit
3-day weekends start Friday morning at 8 AM through Sunday at 11 AM. 4-day midweeks start Monday at 8 AM through Thursday at 11 AM. 7-day weeks start on your choice of: Monday at 8 AM thru Sunday at 11 AM, or Friday at 8 AM thru Thursday at 11 AM. Early Boarding is available for all vacations at 4:30 pm the afternoon before the start day listed above.
Early Boarding is $150 per boat As a special bonus for our early boarding customers, we will attempt to provide your training cruise the evening of early boarding - however; please be informed that this is a free bonus and is not guaranteed (we reserve the right to hold the houseboats in for maintenance, heavy weather and darkness). WE DO guarantee the houseboat will be available for sleeping on the evening of early boarding. Add 5.5% sales tax to all prices. All prices are subject to change.

VISA and MasterCard are accepted for the reservation / security deposit only. Final payment, which is due 30-days prior to boarding must be made by personal check, business check, cashiers check or cash.
Reservation / Security Deposit:
is due via credit card at the time the reservation is made. We will send you a confirmation letter as a receipt for your deposit. The reservation deposit is not reflected in the
price of the vacation. The reservation deposit is an additional charge. Upon
occupancy of the boat, the reservation deposit converts to a security
deposit. This will not be subtracted from the rental
fee.
The security deposit will be refunded via mail provided your boat is returned on
time, undamaged, and the gas bill paid. Your
deposit is returned to you within 7 to 10 days after your cruise.
Our houseboat rentals are rented by the 4-day midweek (Monday 8am – Thursday 11am) the 3-day weekend (Friday 8am – Sunday 11am) or by the 7-day week; all vacation packages come with an early boarding option. This Option allows you to board the houseboat at 4:30 PM the afternoon before departure. See early boarding Rental Conditions: Prior to departure, a lease agreement must be signed and rental fee paid in full subject to a 5.5% state tax. Cruises are intended for 10 people. The maximum amount of people that will be allowed on a cruise is 12. Pets: $100 deposit plus a fee of $125 per pet. Fuel and Pump-outs: Renters are responsible for fuel and pump-outs upon return. Fuel will typically cost .65 per gallon more on the river than it does on the hi-way. Pump-outs are usually around $32.00. Loss, Breakage, Damage: Renter is
financially responsible for loss, breakage and damages.
Misc: Must be 21 years of age, and able to captain the boat. Training is mandatory by an on river training cruse. A nominal fee will be charged for the return of an unclean boat. Upon return of the boat you are responsible to pay for re-fueling and a $32.00 service charge for septic pump-outs and chemicals. Refunds will not be made on boats returned early or late departures. Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel, notify us in writing at reservations@mississippiriverrentals.com 45 days prior to your boarding date. Your deposit will be refunded minus a 25% service charge. Cancellations between 45 and 30 days prior to departure are subject to forfeiture of your entire deposit. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to departure will be subject to charges of full scheduled houseboat rental rates. Any rescheduling will be subject to the same cancellation policies. We regret that we can not make exceptions for personal emergencies as a cause for cancellations. To avoid any misunderstandings concerning breakdowns, accidents, inclement weather, or loss of cruising time, we check all mechanical equipment prior to your departure in our houseboat rentals. You need not accept your boat until you are satisfied with your boat and equipment. However, once upon the river, you alone are responsible for its operation.
